Ingredients

  • 1½ cups water
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ½ cup gluten free steel-cut oats (Irish oats)
  • ½ cup mixed berries
  • 6 almonds

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan bring water to a boil.
  2. Add salt and the oats
  3. Cover and reduce heat to low.
  4. Cook stirring occasionally 10-20 minutes depending on desired texture and consistency.
  5. Remove from heat.
  6. Serve topped with berries and almonds.

Notes

Steel cut oats can be made the night before if time is an issue in the morning.
